Southtree vs. Nostalgic Media

Southtree vs. Nostalgic Media

You’re in the market for digitization services. You’re tired of the awesome photos of your lime green, bell-bottom jeans and matching polyester shirt going to waste in analog purgatory, so you want to get them loaded onto your computer for the cascade of Facebook and Instagram likes they’re likely to garner. That’s awesome, and we support you.

Searching around the web, you’ve likely seen a few different places that seem to do the same thing. Costco has a service, Nostalgic Media has a service, and then there’s Southtree too. Choices are great.

But you don’t know anything about digitization.

So how do you choose which service is right for you? That’s where we come in. We’ll help you compare the services that Nostalgic Media and Southtree provide, so that you know which one is going to take care of you, your privacy, and your memories the best.

When it comes to comparing Southtree with Nostalgic Media, there are some things to keep in mind. They’re not exactly the same service. Southtree is more customer service based. That means they’re always available to answer your questions, keep you updated on the status of your order, and take amazing care of you (and your memories) the whole time.

Nostalgic Media specializes in home video repair. They consider themselves experts and restoring and refinishing old home movies. Because of that, they’re a bit more expensive than Southtree, and they don’t accept as many formats and media types.

I’d give the edge to Southtree for their amazing customer service, ease of ordering, step-by-step tracking, and included packing materials.
